1.) Choose between a whole, half, or quarter beef.
Whole beef: average cost $3,300-$3,750. Average take home weight is 400+ pounds.
Half beef: average cost is $1,650-$1,875. Average take home weight is 200+ pounds.
Quarter beef: average cost is $825-$935. Average take home weight is 100+ pounds.
