Silver Ridge Farm has been owned and operated by the Silver family in Stafford County for over 140 years. We have raised and sold high quality beef for three generations. All beef is raised, fed, and processed on site by our family and employees and guaranteed by Silver Ridge Farm.
Our farm
Silver Ridge Farm is located in South Stafford, Virginia. We’ve been in the business of selling high-quality, humanely raised beef to local consumers for over 45 years. Our cattle are pasture-raised and finished on cereal grains we grow ourselves to ensure the best quality. Our feed is produced according to the Tri County Soil and Conservation District standards and our farm has received the Chamber of Commerce Environmental Award and is a Virginia Conservation Farm of the Year recipient.
Our family
Silver Ridge Farm is a family business run by father and son duo Jerry and Mike Silver. Both are Virginia Tech alumni- Jerry graduated in 1967 & Mike in 1995. Both are involved in the day to day operations at the farm.
Our mission
For the last three generations, our family has worked hard to provide the best local beef we can- pasture raised, finished on grain we grow ourselves, prioritizing soil health & water quality. All beef is processed on site- we sell whole, halves, or quarters of beef directly to individual buyers.
